What topic has your classmate chosen to defend?
Female empowerment. (Women are more than just money or goods..?) female self-worth..
Do any of the cells in the matrix make you agree more with your classmate? What about less?
Your last row is strong and your point of view comes across very clear as well as the second row.
Has your classmate misplaced either text or image content in the matrix? If so, what effect does that have.
You should try to find a more solid fact about women for the objective/objective point of view. While we know women are more than just idols, I don’t feel that the text or image is reaaaally convincing me of that. (at least not as strongly as some of the other ones you have.)
Would another combination of text and image from this matric make a more compelling argument for the chosen cause?
Maybe an image of a woman in power for the first row… like a self-made, successful ‘whole-lotta-woman’
I can’t read much of the text, but that which I can read doesn’t appear to be all that poignant. For example, while I will always agree that women are more than just idols, that isn’t techniquely an objective statement. I also think that the objective pictures should be more contemporary, thus showing the plight of the woman in the 21st century rather than the plight of the woman in the past, which at this point, in the present, we really can’t do anything about. I can’t quite make out what’s in the second picture. Of all the postcards though, I think that the most powerful ones are the one with the picture of the house with the text “Prison”, ]and “women own less than 1% of the world’s property.” I find the latter the most compelling because I wasn’t aware of this fact, as the statistic is drastically more even in the US.
